AMP753 Liquid Mulch Application Information

AMP753 Liquid Mulch is a proven, cost effective and easy to implement solution. It is applied as a liquid over the soil and quickly dries to form a physical barrier that does not affect the crops or plants. New seeds from weeds cannot take root and new weed growth is eliminated. It is more cost effective than manual weeding.
How do I apply the Liquid Mulch?
AMP753 Liquid Mulch can be applied using any commercial spraying equipment. Spraying equipment that uses air pressure as well as equipment with centrifugal or piston pumps can be used. Spray nozzles may have to be changed so that the product is applied evenly to the soil.
It is important to apply the Liquid Mulch as evenly as possible. Gaps are potential places for weeds to grow.
Will it be difficult to clean the spraying equipment?
Spraying equipment can be easily cleaned by rinsing with water. It does not “gum-up”. If the nozzles or orifices are too small, they may clog. If this happens, they can be removed and cleaned with water. Simply dilute the AMP753 Liquid Mulch more or use larger nozzles.
It is recommended to clean the equipment immediately after use by rinsing with water. If the product dries inside the equipment it can be removed with warm water.
Will it affect my plants?
AMP753 Liquid Mulch is not a herbicide and it is not a fertilizer. It is applied as liquid over the soil and dries to form a physical barrier. Seeds that fall onto this barrier usually do not sprout.
At the same time, the barrier allows water to pass through. The water will pass slower than it does without the Liquid Mulch barrier.
